Gavin Griffiths Group an awarding winning Transport, Waste, Recycling and Contracting company based in Llangyfelach, Swansea. The business is expanding now and is seeking a new credit controller to join its finance function at head office.

Role

In the role as Credit Controller, reporting into Group Finance Director, will complete the following duties:

• Speaking with customers regarding payments.

• Discussing payment plans and offering repayment options

• Issuing statement of accounts

• Resolving customer queries

• Ensuring debt is collected in accordance with agreed timescales.

• Ensure all systems are update accordingly with all relevant information

• Working in partnership with the in-house sales and customers service teams.

Key Skills & Experience

• Formal Education – GCSE English and Maths Grade C (equivalent) or above

• Experienced in using MS Excel and MS Word

• Experience in working in a busy customer service/ Finance environment

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• Team player must be willing to help and support colleagues

• Ability to keep clam under pressure
