We have recently appointed Kelly Rees as our new business development manager in the waste management division. She will lead business growth and bring forward a suite of new hazardous waste services.
Kelly Rees has joined Gavin Griffiths Group with more than 18 years of experience in the waste management and facilities management sectors. Her strategic experience spans total waste management, hazardous and liquid waste, waste brokerage, site services and compliance-led operational leadership. Working her way from front line delivery to senior leadership roles, Kelly is well placed to deliver on Gavin Griffiths Group expansion plans as she launches a range of new services under the total waste management banner.
The new services will provide customers with a one-stop-shop for all waste management services. At present, we offer a range of waste management services including skip hire, materials recycling facilities, land remediation and site clearance and most recently, steam treatment for contaminated soil. Moving forward, we will also offer hazardous waste and site services including CCTV drainage surveys, PPM maintenance, tank cleans and decommissioning works as well as pest control and crisis management and spill response.
On her appointment, Kelly comments: “I’m thrilled to join the Gavin Griffiths Group team at such a pivotal time for the company as it expands its service offering in the waste management sector. My experience of delivering compliance-led operations at a wide range of sites will help to embed these new services and bring more value to existing clients while new customers will benefit from a catch-all approach to waste management. I’m looking forward to bringing these new integrated waste management services to our customer base and continuing to offer the sustainability-focussed approach that Gavin Griffiths Group is known for.”
Gavin Griffiths, Managing Director of Gavin Griffiths Group comments: “Kelly’s appointment is strategically aligned to our expansion plans and in increasing our service offering to customers operating larger sites such as factories and plants where waste management processes are complex. Her experience in the waste management sector throughout south Wales and beyond, coupled with her leadership skills and client relationship management are great qualities that we are already seeing in action. I want to welcome Kelly to our growing team and I’m looking forward to seeing the impact that these new services will bring to our customers.”
Our new total waste management services will see us become one supplier for waste, hazardous materials, industrial cleaning and site services. This will allow businesses to save on multiple suppliers while remaining compliant with all waste management regulations across multiple types of waste.
